Holy. Moly.

Sorry for being MIA but it’s totally what I needed. I just needed to take a little vacation from my little space on the internet. It felt good but I’m back!

What are your plans for the long weekend? I’m going up to a cabin in Idaho to play in the snow. We’ll see how that goes since all my encounters with snow in the past have been a little scaring to say the least. But it should be fun!

Things I’ve learned this last week:

- Moms make everything better

- I have the best roommate

- Stalking yourself on Facebook and laughing at so many ridiculous pictures will sure get you out of a bad mood

- Everything will turn out just fine

- It is better to make a decision, even if it is the wrong one, than to not make one at all. Because no matter the outcome you will still learn something from the experience

- Jamming out to music is the best

Sorry I wasn’t around that much last week, but I just had so much going on that I just need a little break!

So I was so unproductive over the weekend because I was too stubborn to be productive, which is just ridiculous and  makes Mondays that much worse.

Lesson Learned: Don’t mope around on the weekend and be stubborn.

I did do one thing this weekend – bought a new lip stick. Like it? I sure do!

I kinda felt a little  retro and a little like this girl with my head scarf and high waisted pants and all. Can I just say that these jeans are my new favorite pants in the entire world? A little dramatic yes, but true. One) the were inexpensive and two) they make my booty look cute which is always a plus.

I know I’m one of the last people to read the Hunger Games but have you read them? If not, seriously you need to read it right this second.

My roommate gave me the book for my half birthday a couple of weeks ago {who doesn’t celebrate their half birthday….} because she really wanted me to read it so we could go see the movie together, which I am SOOO excited for. Yeah I’ve definitely watched the trailer one to many times. Also, I am a very firm believer in reading the book before you go see the movie, plus, the book is always better!

So I totally read it in two days over the long weekend, started it Sunday morning and finished it Monday night. When I get really into books I literally cannot set them down and then I get so passionate and emotionally invested that I kinda get depressed when it’s over…lets be honest, we are all like this! But good thing there are two more books in the series!!

long or short hair.

Sometimes I have this impulse to chop off all my hair. I hate doing my hair, 1) It takes too long and 2) I’m not good at it.

Remember when my hair when I first started this blog? Yeah and I have been trying to grow it out ever since.

I’ve always wanted long luscious hair but I don’t think that will ever happen….sad. But looking back on my short hair, I kind of miss it, to be honest.

hmmmm……maybe this summer…. I guess we’ll see!

Well I had a very nice long weekend, how about you?

I spent some time down in St. George with friends and went hiking and enjoyed time getting out of town. A change of scenery is always nice. I will hopefully have pictures soon of the hike! It was so gorgeous.

Yeah horrible idea. My TV watching was kind of ridiculous before, now it is about to get OUT. OF. CONTROL. I blame netflix and addicting TV shows.

These pictures were taken on a classic Oregon winter day – gloomy, don’t think the sun even came out once, most likely rained for a very long period of time, and was pretty chilly.

So I finished Grey’s Anatomy the other day and netflix only has until season 7 and I can’t start watching season 8 now because they are in the middle of the season! I know, I have a very hard life…

So, what shows do you recommend?

My best friend from home said I should start watching How I Met Your Mother. She says it’s pretty funny.

hello crazies. how are you this fine day?

Boy, oh boy! School started up again last week and it has been CRRRAAAAZZZYYY! My days are long and by the end I am tuckered out! and all I want to do when I get back is climb in bed and watch some grey’s anatomy. But it will be good, i hope…
