I love the freshness of sunshine right after it has been raining for a good part of the day, which happens a lot in Oregon, it’s a nice little gift from Mother Nature.
One of my favorite things to do is mix patterns, and this is exactly what I did today. When mixing patterns the main thing to keep in mind is balance, the patterns of my shirt and sweater are much smaller than the one of my skirt. Also that you have one color palette going on, I pulled the colors of my shirt and sweater from the skirt. I wore a big brown belt to break up all the patterns, so it wouldn’t be so busy. I love this outfit! Especially this shirt, I think I’ve worn it a million times because it goes with everything. Breton Stripes are definitely a basic piece to have on your wardrobe.
Well I’m off to go enjoy the sunshine, you never know how long its going to last.
