Off to my next adventure…

Well the day has finally come ladies and gentlemen.

I left for college today.

I have been so emotional these past few months but for the past couple of days I have kind of been in a daze while packing up all my things and saying goodbye. It is the weirdest feeling in the world packing up all your stuff. Staring at your empty drawers and closet. So weird…..

Time really did go by too fast. I don’t like when time does that. I think it is quite rude… I swear it was just yesterday that I started my senior year…that I was in Hairspray….that I went to Prom…..that I went to Ashland…..that it was Senior Assembly and Graduation…..I’m in such a crazy, weird state of mind right now. I guess that’s what change does to you.

I don’t think it will really hit me that I am starting college until I am sitting in my Geology class on Monday morning. I think school starts monday…..I really have no idea, I should probably figure that out…..Off to a great start aren’t I?!

I can’t wait to set up my dorm room and I will definitely be sharing some pictures once it’s all done and out together.

Have a wonderful weekend! Think of me when I am unpacking literally a million boxes this weekend!

  2. Goodluck! BYU is a tough school but I’m sure you’ll manage. Have lots of fun and goodluck! Provo is beautiful in the summer. I sure do miss it. I’ll be back in the Fall tho, maybe I’ll see you around!

  3. K so you’re adorable. Love your blog and so glad I found it! Also, I totally work in Ashland, OR. : ) I also lived in Portland for a few years too, but I’m currently in Southern OR. Small world!

  4. Oh my goodness! I’m so excited for you! And honestly, I’m a bit jealous – the possibilities at the beginning and the thrill of a new start is so exciting. But don’t worry, it just gets better and better! Enjoy YSA :) Thanks for sharing your adventures with us! Good luck good luck!

  5. Aw, this post is so endearing! It reminded me of the time I left my parents’ home to live by myself, the time I finished high school, the time I got married and left the nest for good. It is weird but those are things we need to do to open new doors to the great things that life has ahead for us!

Oh, and by the way, you look totally fabulous so if you ask me, I think you’re off to a GREAT start!

    xoxo
